I would highly advice either getting permission to use the legacy carno model, or find another model. The skin is really nice, just that unless i am mistaken, you've taken this model, and as a Legacy dev member i would highly suggest you start to learn modeling or find another model (with permission of course). I wasn't around until the last few years before the cycle died and most of the heads left. As much as I miss the general idea behind the community canon and the cycle, it definitely had its problems (much of which were behind close doors, which isn't my business to comment on). I do still yearn for that feeling of unity and collaborating together, building up to some grand story....

I do wish we all could have witnessed the full story how it was meant to be presented, but I'm glad we all get at least some form of a proper send off. Regardless though, I'm glad you're in a better headspace and position in life now, and I do hope you at least try to take another crack at modding, its only gotten easier since! (and sorry if I'm sounding like a broken record, but I'm more then willing to help you with understanding the new tools and engine, even as jus a basic guide c:)

Miragaia is an actual genus

While the mod will probably be great, as is all your work, I find the animals themselves a bit off. Mainly in the textures, as at least some seem to be photo sourced, overall feeling disconnected from the carnivores art style. Personally I would recommend going over and retexturing all the animals to fit more with the vanilla roster as currently they feel almost like pre reskin update tatem assets

The main reason why JPOG modding is dead is because most modders would rather steal content from the same 3-4 mods from 4+ years ago, then make new content themselves. Despite the newer tools, JPOG modding is still buggy and unpredictable and most of the time, not worth the hassle. And with the 5+ years now that we've had the new tools, only 2-3 of the dozens of random mods that have released since then are even decent.

This mod does stand out though, and hopefully it sees a release, if it gives credit to the people who's assets are being used here.
