go to your game files, delete everything except the common,manuals,movies,pc,redistrubutables, TBoGT,TLAD folders.
go to steam and re-validate files for gta 4.
if that doesn't work, maybe try to reinstall the gam

the upcoming version works well and its much easier to get running.

I've tested out the upcoming version and it works very well. I suggest anyone having issues to wait until its release, get a vanilla edition of the game installed and start fresh.
This is a great way to easily get several quality of life enhancements in an easy to install package. It also has the ability to add other script mods separately but unsure how they will run.
I've played for a few hours now and only had one instance where I needed to shut down (using brucies custom shop it froze up). also the repoman missions seem to be broken.
otherwise it runs great. I've made it up to vlad missions with zero game breaking problems.
there is some pop in. I don't push FPS over 60. you will want to turn the vehicle density way down . With tweaks , this modpack gives you the ability to play gta4 exactly how you want.

I removed d3d9.dll in an attempt to bypass ENB.. which got me to the menu, gta4 will show 2 load screens but crash after that (frame rate jumps to 5000?). I am able to load TBOGT bank rob cut scene and game will run after but blank screen (can still hear audio).

I hope to get this working. I have the same issue as the person who mentioned it going to a black screen(with all mods disabled still get this screen but with text saying "social club failed to initialize. error code 4" . I was able to get TLATD running for a moment somehow but haven't been able to again.
