I'd have to say I find it almost strange how many people like the fire/2/3 thing. I personally thought it was rather childish to for it to be so simple. And for square to have come up with fira/firaga, ect. was rather inventive and unique.

One thing I'm hoping for in this is a dumbing down of certain spell, or even removal if you see fit, and a lot of materia being replaced. I know that I always saw 4x cut being a really cheap materia, especially if you can do 9999 every hit.

Will you be doing anything with the Hero Drink btw? I always thought they were kinda too strong, especially when combined with W-item. Which is another question I have. What will you be doing with the W-Item materia? Is it still acquirable? And if so, have you at least made it harder to get? Because W-Iteming was really bad when people would make 99 elixirs and Hero Drinks and whatever else was really useful or worth selling.

I'd be more than willing to beta test this. Sounds like a fun deal, can't wait for it to release.
