That's great, go ahead. Sorry for the lack of response, been without a computer for a week and might not be able to do much for a little while. But the mod won't die of course.

The buildings look great. As for the time zone I'm in Europe, so if you're in the US messenger might be redundant due to timezone difference.

I'll have to make an account there tomorrow, seems like an allright place to start. I like the site even though haven't used the forums.

As for the landscape, I haven't gotten started as I've focused on other things. It should be in a different worldspace altogether for best effect.

I figured Norland, Ostland and Middenland, maybe as far west as Marienburg, east as far as Erengrad. That river being the southern border. Can't really agree with myself though. You can find a better map on Google, that's just the first one I found. Do you think that can be done? What sizes do you prefer working with?

If you're good at exteriors, would you consider trying to do /the/ exterior? Basically some towns with a lot of wilderness in between, but modeled after a map of a province of the empire. I can post an image when I find out which one is best suited.

Of course, any help is great. I had something in mind for dungeons. Combining bits from castles with forts and make a vampire lair of sorts. A vampire count being the boss at the end, with zombies and skeletons in the hallways. Things like that. But if you have any ideas I'd like to hear them.

There is a warp in Fantasy too. Warpstone for example. And didn't Chaos come through warpgates at the poles? Or am I completely off here?

Seems like the directories are too messy now, will have to reorganise the whole thing in folders. This also involves going into every NIF and changing texture paths. Will take some time. Then I'll have to go over the races again, plus other things. Make all textures non-overwriting. Which in a sense means starting from scratch. This sets it all back a bit.

You may have noticed profile updates have stagnated. The mod is in no way discontinued. I'm just working on things that don't make good screenshots, planning some game mechanics and reading on the CS wiki. I am also trying to find some good music.

Recruitment is ongoing, please consider joining regardless of what specific aspect of modding you are familiar with. Any skill can be used in a project of this type. For a single person, work will inavoidably progress at a slower rate, as I will need to build experience in each and every field before even getting started on that specific aspect of Oblivion modding.

Modelers and people who are good at creating large exteriors / maps are particularly needed, as I decided to scrap the idea of using Cyrodill. Buildings and dungeons can be recycled. NPCs are largely taken care of, as are things like races, classes, magic and factions. It's the landmass itself that is missing for the most part.

Seeing that there is at least a nominal interest in the project, feedback of any kind would also be nice, as it lets me know what needs more work and what needs less.

That is all.

Ancient evil, you say? Sounds interesting, almost Lovecraft-like.

However, that makes them non-playable. And takes away the possibility of dialogue, as well as advanced equipment. Maybe both will be used at once, to represent the different breeds of ratmen.

I tried mixing rat and goblin bits with no success before. But he says it's a modders resource so I guess I'll use it. Thanks for pointing that out.
