I have an idea:
Clone Wars -New Republic Scenario - Only one faction(republic) in the begining,confederacy secedes from the republic at some point,if you are one of the lords of the republic you can join the confederacy,or declare neutrality,in the republic there would be senate sessions instead of feasts,and the lords would be called "Senator <name>" .If you are a lord in the republic you could run for chancellor by moving for a vote of no confidence in the current chancellor.If you have a majority in the senate,you could change the laws,and amend the constitution .You could then in time crown yourself emperor and reform the republic into the empire.And then at some point rebel alliance secedes from the empire and starts the galactic civil war.If the rebels win the war then the vong invade the galaxy and start the y.vong war(Vong vs N.Republic),if the rebels lose the the y.vong war is vaged between vong and the empire .
I don't know if all of this is possible,but it would be cool
does anything happen when one of the three factions unites the galaxy?
e.g rebel alliance turns into new republic when empire is destroyed
