I don't like getting into political debates, but I have to agree. I used to do some accounting work for the government and their practices border on the illegal, not so much stealing directly, but ... For instance, do you know that each and every professor at a state institution in California has "professional development" money for helping their classes with props, trips, free books etc. Anyone who has ever gone to school in CA knows 99% don't do this for the students. As a result, the money stays in their fund untilthe end of semester when they have to "spend it or lose it"! Ever seen a professor that DIDN'T have a new iPad, iPhone, Mac, laptop, etc.
