I installed the game for steam and the modpath is not launching the mod. Any suggestions?

Okay I figured it out to those having problems. To extract the rar file, use the program or a similar program WinZip. WinZip has a free trial, so used it to download the file. It may bring up the screen to by it just keep pressing the button to use the free trial. Once extracted to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods it would probably add the fold as EAW-Remake_3.0 or something on the lines of that. Click on that folder and it should have the folder EAW-Remake. That is the correct folder so copy that a put in the mod folder and delete EAW-Remake_3.0 then but in the updated modpath in the properties and it will run the mod.

I am having the same problem. I downloaded a program to extract the rar file and doing the updated modpath for the properties is not working. Any ideas?

I downloaded the single rar file and had it put in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods, but everything I tried it just loads up the base game. Any suggestions? I tried both sweaw MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Remake and swfoc MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Remake in the launch options on steam. Any help would be amazing.
