Still working on my SH/RE crossover comic.

Well, still outlining the plot. I finished the first chapter and I don't know how to end the second. Either it will end with Claire being knocked out and put in a jail cell while Leon and Chris go to rescue her (and then get split up in their worst nightmares!) or Claire will still be running around and stumble upon a cabin and fight her first boss.

The thing is though, I wanted the first other world transition to be before any real monsters. I mean yeah she's running into a hospital with a good handful of (NON SEXY) nurses (SINCE I STUDIED SILENT HILL AND HOW IT AFFECTS EACH CHARACTER AND SHE'S NOT A LESBIAN SO THAT WOULDN'T BE RIGHT IF THEY WERE SEXY NOW WOULD IT) and a few other things but like, I wanted shit to get real in the apartment section. I even drew out the layout and what items went where and what angles to show and what she would say at certain spots and how the rooms would look and which window to jump out of and what weapon and-*gasps for air*

I'm writing it out as if I were making a game.
*pinches bridge of nose*

I'm scatter brained. I got stuff for the later chapters (usually i max it to 10 but hey who knows it's SH), I got stuff for early chapters, HECK I GOT SHIT FOR THE END but nothing for the middle. I'd prefer if it focused on Claire, then a bit of Leon, and a little Chris, but who knows. Anywhere the wind blows...doesn't really matter to me. Also I didn't know where to put this but Pyramid Head is just a placeholder in the story until I can brainstorm on something better.

Loving the sketches I've been doing though. Too bad I'm really lazy when it comes to writing and drawing out parts I don't feel like doing. The thing is though is that it's in Ashley Wood's style so I've REALLY got no excuse to be lazy. I just think his would fit and I'm reproducing it as best as I can, and I really like the results. I guess I can put some of it up here.

Oh hey what do you know I thought it'd be a short post but no okay then thanks for reading if you did I doubt it bye.

Part 1:
Seems like you put a lot of thoughts into this. I like your drawings. You seem to have a great understanding for light and shadow. proportions seems to be spot on. And if you're only 16 thats pretty amazing. Ive also been working on a comic. Well i have for the last 6 years now. That said it was actually first 3 years ago that i actually got some kind of context to the comic. Im hoping to someday be able to finish it. Well the reason im telling you his is because im also to lazy at actually completing the story. But i read that you designed the story as if it was a game. And i dont know about you but when i did that (Yes i actually did that) That didnt help me at all. Sure i came up with a number of great settings and character (most of which i actually had to scrap cause of story changes over the years). Im already writing this to long. ill try to get to the point. My point is that the thing that helped me the most was to actually write it as novel. like this:

part 2:
(character) stepped into the room, it was dark and he could barelly see anything. He felt along the frame of the door. No light, perfect! he thought to himself. He slowly took a step into the room. There was a cracking sound as he stepped in some broken glass. Why would (character 2) come here?.

Never mind the lame story. My point is that when writing like this. You sort of become the character. as time goes by. You can sort of feel the room or location and interact with characters. And after that its pretty simple once you have the scene.

pic. 1:
Dark siluet in the doorway. Textbox[narrator]: meanwhile somewhere else

pic 2:
hand feeling down frame Textbobble[char.1thought]: "no light, Great!"

pic 3:
Hand infront of first-person view

pic 4: foot stepping in broken glass. Text[sound]: grgghha(or how ever glass sounds like)

Pic 5:
close up of character. Textbobble: "christ, why would (char2) come here".

Well thats just an example. And i dont wont to sound arrogant or anything. Truth is im actually impressed what you got so far. Its just that this progress as helped me the most. So i just thought id share it with you. Oh and by the way, your thoughts about clair in the silent hill universe and how the the universe would manifest in the mind of clair. Nice! Great thoughts so far. Im looking forward to reading your comic if you post it here.

Wow. When I went to your page, my jaw dropped. I can't believe you're even giving me the time of day to critique! Thank you so much, it means a lot to me.

The whole thing started out one night when I was playing Shattered Memories. I just love physiological things and analyzing characters. I love seeing what makes them tick and decides their actions..it's just so cool to me. I suppose that's what got me thinking; how would each of these characters react in Silent Hill, their own personal nightmare?

The reason why I designed the story as a game was because that was originally what I wanted to make it. I wanted a little practice for my career, so I thought it would be fun. It also helps me make decisions that would otherwise be hard to make. Maybe I think things through too much. But I never thought of writing out a description of the page; I definitely think it will help me out a lot.

What's funny is that half the time I don't even think of the plot. It's usually me, sitting in class during a lecture and doodling in Ashley's style, and when it turns out something that looks like it could fit, I usually add it into the story. Like a few days ago, I just doodled a little Claire looking up a stairwell with her flashlight, and a Leon jumping back at a jump scare, and I incorporated all of those into the story. Now I just have to finish writing it out.

And thank you! I'm still working on a lot of things right now, and the things you said I did well on are actually the things I struggle the most with. I'm still working on them, but I am definitely getting better with practice. I might just post it here, as this will be the first place I will post any of my new works. I'm just not sure if I'm allowed to since this is a mod site x)
