To all those who have not seen his post, Barcuda has said that the mod will not be done within 2016. He will be posting an article to go more in depth when he can.

Perhaps just a skin that appears on planets with water or beaches? I don't think they need to be a unit themselves.

I doubt the mod is dead. The mod creators have stated they are busy, which obviously can lead to lack of updates and all that.

Just kind of curious here, going back and reading some things posted, we will be able to play through the Knights of the Republic era to the Old Republic era. How will this work? Will it work like Thrawn's Revenge, with a sort of progression system in game, or will we have to choose different GC's and play those? I understand you're busy, so reply when ever you get the chance.
