Actually no. The icon is called an "Army Badge". And SM Commanders often use these to keep visual track of who is under their particular command in war. So each SM Commander use their own individual icon on the people they have direct control over. It is normaly placed on the right leg greave, a bit under the kneecap level (since on the right kneecap you place the squad icon), on each SM model. Vehicles usualy have them towards the right somewhere as well.

This particular one is very simmilar to one that you could see on almost every Blood angels model back in 2nd edition rules of 40K, the "original" one is black and white instead though. You will see the icon every now and then on BA as well in 3rd-5th edition rules, but it seems like most people don't bother with putting army badges on their models anymore.

A thought. How about being able to pick up those empty bullet case's?
(Maybe you already can, I don't know.)

So that you could use them for various things. Like rearming them to refil your supply of ammunition (you should lose x% of the case's, when rearming them. due to them having become damaged and unusable for new amunnition). And/Or having them be usable in the creation of various kind of homemade anti-personel bombs/mines/traps/etc in the crafting system.

Hmm... yeah it does have a slant, and it might be the angel that makes it look like there is not much of it.

Although, after having looked at the other images, to me it seems like there needs to be a bigger slant on the three front panels, then there already is. I guess the only thing for me to be really sure is to see the direct sideview of it to know if the slant is big enough or not.

Of course, these images are already 6 months old, so who knows what you guys have done with it already since then.
