The code for the door can be obtained in parts, from multiple (4, I think) PDA-s. Even if you figure out the code before finding 'em, the code won't work until you find all the PDA-s.
Either that, or I'm misremembering it and I'm talking about a different code. But I do remember that it was a long time between getting the Playboy mission and actually being able to enter the door for it.
For the door code, you have to find all parts of it in-game before it actually works.

First I got nothing, but then I loaded a save from before transitioning to x-16, then it worked. Apparently the problem was that the thing I needed to look at was dead for some reason (blue dot on the map).

I have a problem with the quest where I have to photograph the giant brain in x-16. The description says that I should get some kind of confirmation when I'm pointing the camera the right way, but I'm not able to find the right spot, no matter from where and what angle I'm looking through the cam. I also don't get anything when I do make a photo of it. If I go outside to photograph the controller after, I get an SMS message and a photo in the inventory. Any tips?

If I remember correctly (I might not), it is on the top level of the guard tower on the west side. I think I did this quest with a strong exo and a lot of anti-bullet damage artifacts equipped, and rushed in and out.
On the way out it is better to run south and then to the fallen tree at the fence, because then you'll be less in the line of fire of the soldiers.
Double click on it, which will open its popup menu. You'll need to buy armor- and weapon repair kits sold by some of the traders to be able to use it.
There's "smart quicksave" in this mod, which means if you go to menu (esc) and press B, it will make a hard save and goes straight back to the game. It is a good way to evade the usual quicksave troubles.
How many saves do you have? Having too many of them seems to be a common problem.
Importing weapons ain't too simple, it took me some two weeks to import a knife (without any prior modding experience, though).

As HipsterDoofus said above, get a transmuter device. That will make artifact cooking easy & simple.

And how do I get this quest from him? He offers no special quests currently, just the standard ones. I started to do the "kill this and that guy" quests of his, maybe he offers it after those?
Yep, that's what I did too. The guy is immortal, it even gets mentioned in dialog later.

I'm at the mission where I'll have to wait in ambush in x-10 in a camo suit, but noone told me where to get a camo suit. IIRC there was the camo suit delivered for Voronin before where the mission description did actually say that maybe I should hold on to it for a bit longer, but was that the only chance to have one?
Yes, he says it when you first talk with him, but doesn't mention it later, not even after you found his brother (maybe in SMS, but doesn't say anything in person). The way to east Pripyat should open eventually, for reasons unrelated to this mission.
Artem Kulinar in Garbage tells you to look for his brother, but there is no actual active quest in the PDA for it.
FYI there is "smart quicksave" in this mod, which makes a save through pressing Esc then B. It is a good way of making hard saves quickly while evading the usual quicksave problems.
I don't think that the flashlight item is even equippable, you should have a functioning flashlight from the start without having an inventory item version (iirc). Maybe try equipping a variety of different armors to see if it helps.

Although I already went to Sakharov, and he can only make it to teleport to the original location from anywhere or change it to work as a more generic teleporter. But I got some ideas to try with the item.

I browsed the russian forums, and it seems you were right.
The big thing seems to be the unlocked teleporter. I was just expecting something fancier, as I already have 2 different teleportation devices.
