Hi All,

During the weekend I have been tinkering away with the feedback I have gotten over the past few days. And improved a few aspects of the demo as a whole. I feel as if this level is at a good place right now. And will begin focusing on the second level: the caves in the coming weeks!

The goal for the caves level is to give more story to the player but also change up the gameplay a bit by introducing some sort of puzzle to solve in order to continue the journey. Will be the first time for me to implement something like that but Hopefully with some good tutorials online it should all work out!

This update to the Demo includes:
- Better lighting
- More events
- Fear mechanic is implemented
- More lore & notes
- Better pathing for the monster

The demo still is over once you go through the mine entrance.

Hi All,

In the last few days an amazing amount of progress has been made regarding The Awoken One custom story. The level editing, notes and monster(s) where easier to implement than I originally though that it would be. This means that the first level progressed really fast in the last few days. So fast in fact that I really would like to get the community involved while making this custom story.

So that is why the demo has just been released! It is a really short slice of what will be quite a long custom story. The first few notes and story can be found in the fort and with the help and feedback of you guys I want to make this custom story (but also this first level) better and better.

There is still lots to do and lots to learn for me. Luckily the tutorial series from techOFreak128 is a really vast and comprehensive tutorial series that has helped me lots in making this small demo.
