Are you posting this from the internet or from Desura? Install Desura, then view this page from that app, and at the top of this very window it says, "Install Mod". Click it! Obviously, you need Half Life 2, Episode 2 installed through Steam first, though.

Not for nothing, but the product price window to the right clearly states this is a Linux 32-bit game. You could always consider dual-booting with a 32-bit OS. Your complaint is like a developer saying "This game doesn't work on any OS newer than XP", and then you go and comment, "I'm having issues on Vista! What gives?" No offense dude (or dudette), but pay attention and no one will give you attitude. :-/

I typically only play a game if it has one or more of these things: Action, role-playing, shooter, & a good story. I typically dislike liniar games. However, there are always exceptions. I typically game for about 35+ hours a week. I rarely play online, but you might catch me playing Global Agenda, Star Trek Online, LotRO or Left4Dead once in a great while.
