We are still updating the game a new version 1.2 will be out soon. Anyone who purchases will get access to future versions. In the future we will be focusing mainly on bug fixes but we may add a few new features as well.

You will have to check the site for new updates we will make an announcement when they are released. We release an update when a bug is found but the updates often include addition changes.

Making ammo types is relatively easy it involves finding the right data values online and entering them into the appropriate fields. Most of the info can be found online without too much difficulty. Muzzle Velocity is easily found as are bullet ballistic coefficients, and I have found some massive tables of different bullet length as well. Most of the values can be found on Wikipedia. I will make a post in the forum containing links to some places to look for that kind of data sometime this week.

We are using the Pejsa model to calculate ballistics. Most of the time it will be easier to simple enter muzzle velocity and the ballistic coefficient, but the model does allow for a slightly more accurate calculation if two velocity values are provided. It will be difficult to find the second downrange velocity but some sources for it do exist. The ballistic calculator which is included with Expert Rifleman is more advanced and accurate than most ballistic calculates in existence even using muzzle velocity and the ballistic coefficient.

We would like to give steam keys out to purchasers from the BattleByte Store as long as Valve allows it, I am looking into it further. In the future if we get accepted to Steam we plan to use Steamworks for all of our games.

If you buy the boxed edition we will print up a CD and send it to you, but both contain the same files and both will provide you with an instantaneous download link.
