Not to be an ***, but cp_warpath is the name of a custom Team Fortress 2 map. It is, of course, up to you whether or not you wish to keep the name or not (to avoid some download confusion).

I must say, this is by far the best mod I have seen for HL2. True, there was one in BF1942, but if I remember it didn't have customizable vehicles. In fact, the fact that Empires managed to incorporate working multipassenger/customizable vehicles has me happy right there. I'm REALLY happy with the complex system, and I can't wait to see the aircraft tech. If you managed to add boat tech...then this would be the undisputed king of all mods.

There are a few problems I've noted though. One, obviously, as stated many times, is the rubberbanding lag. It's not so visible on small listenservers (less than 6) or dedicated servers (less than 16 or so), but it really does limit the amount of people who can wage warfare on a server. I understand this is probably a limitation of the Source engine, which wasn't meant to hand so much data with so many people on such large maps with vehicles and models, but even if the devs could optimize it a bit, it would be great. However, I'm assuming this would run without a problem on a LAN. Second, I'm EXTREMELY happy with commander mode, but it's very hard to navigate the minimap (doesn't seem to line up correctly it seems like). I would also like to be able to zoom out a bit more while in commander mode (not on the minimap, but on the actual game screen). Third, I THINK lowering your model settings to "low" makes the interiors of some buildings invisible, as was the case for me (I lowered settings to test out differences, and noticed the entire interior of the barracks was as if it had nodraw textures or no faces at all, except on the exterior). The xy axis of the commander minimap also does not match the xy of the bird's eye view in commander mode, which makes it tricky to navigate. Lastly, not so much an issue as it is an annoyance, the textures are sometimes a bit bland, which is understandable for maps of this scale, but I'd like to request at least texture replacements for the grass/rock for the next release.

Other than the amount of people who would pop in randomly and complain every 2 seconds about lag and drive the commander vehicle to the other side, this mod is thus far on the top of my list.
