SlippyTM I was arguing with the guy who didn't like the mod, then he copied my username and PFP (genuinely not sure how he stole my PFP honestly). You can check the accounts, his location is set to Egypt. Apparently he considers himself some sorta troll, but it's just kinda weird tbh.

I think it's pretty obvious you're taking this mod WAY too seriously. Shall we also go into the fact that since Boar and Flesh are often found together that it's odd that Boar try to kill us yet Flesh will now just sit there all politely?

Source: Allow a helicopter to exist for any period of time in Lost Alpha and if the gameplay doesn't make you stick your head into a blender, the helicopters constant noise will.

As a user of the openable backpack mod for a bit now, you may want to work on ensuring that loading doesn't... unload the backpack.

To explain if you dump all your gear in your back, save and load, it won't check the bag for your weight until you open the bag again. Allowing you to carry infinite gear as long as you save scum a bit.

A godsend for say, a Bandit run where you wipe all the soliders at the X18 factory, buuuut... not very fair obviously. As Mp5ing up there mentioned I tend to prefer a more Tarkov esk approach of leaving where the gear is stored specifically to imagination for the sake of convenience.

Great mod though! This is the holy grail of backpack realism!

You just made me realize, technically the west has the biggest shotgun over the KS23. 20mm pump shotgun vs 40mm shotguns. Could be a single shot break action with the M79, could be a pump with the China Lake, could be a Protecta style drum fed shotgun with the MGL.

This does need to be a thing, that could be a blast! Psuedogiant stopping power.

Honestly I may use this instead of the usual mod I get for loadouts. Not for the intended purpose, but it means I don't have to edit the files myself to clean them up and can just fill in the blanks with the gear I want for a run. Thanks dude!

Interesting concept! Does it happen to also remove ally and neutral squads from the later PDA's? I always found those features to be a bit gimmicky. Like the only factions I could see actually using them would be the Military, Ecologists and UNISG. Maybe Clear Sky as well, for those that could afford it, as it would help them find guys they lost in the swamps. The T2 PDA's specifically.

I don't mention the Monolith as, while they certainly could afford to, they seem to get random "inspiration" as stories in Shadow of Chernobyl state. If they need to know it, they seem to rely on the Monolith to tell them, otherwise they really don't care. Hence why they often thank the Monolith for revealing their enemies to them and such.

Sin seem to be in an odd place, I don't think they would have the resources or the care to use them. They also seem to be on that... mysticism spectrum.

The Mercs would be the most likely candidate for the T3 PDA's, to assist with tracking targets and potential clients.

Agreed! From what i've seen the movie is more... based on the setting of the book. I'd say they did a great job! The books though. holy hell those were a difficult read, and i've always been great at reading. One of these days i'll read em again maybe.

I'd say that's up to personal taste. The Mercs do that plenty, but unlike the Merc's they are official NATO forces deployed into the Zone. So they would obviously have proper uniforms and ranks. One could argue perhaps they are just Mercs as well, working for the UN much like they do for Ecologists, but why would they bother when they can already simply hire Mercs for that?

It's more likely that they are troops sent in to work on things the UN doesn't trust random Mercs to work on. As for why UNISG guys would use such random weapons, they could only last so long without regular supply drops. So they would be forced to eventually switch over to more local weapons to keep em shooting. Namely AK74's or shotguns.
