Kept messing about with everything, installation sequence, etc. but I found a mod manager (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?680966-Mod-Manager) that just made all the trouble go away.
So I believe DarthMod launcher ought to be the problem, because now everything works and I'm enjoying your mod immensely!
