Hi.
I actually have two Questions:
1. a similar question like "MassDownloader" but a little more specific ^^
I'm 16 years old and using Cinema 4D for almost 3 years now. I've done some modeling with Box-modeling and poly2poly Modeling and made progress (but it's just a hobby)
Well my question is now what programs do you use? I've never even remotely done something like modding so I have no clue how xD
2. Unfortunately your mod is only available for PCs. I've searched for something to install the mods on a mac and came across this:
"If desired, back up the Homeworld 2 data folder
Put the .big file in the data folder
Open Terminal
In finder, go to the Homeworld2 application, right click and select 'open package contents'.
In the package, go to Contents>MacOS
Drag the 'Homeworld 2" file you see there (a unix executable file) to the terminal. The terminal should show something like:
/Applications/Homeworld\ 2/Homeworld\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Homeworld\ 2
Add " -mod modname.big" to the end of the line, so it looks soemthing like this:
/Applications/Homeworld\ 2/Homeworld\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Homeworld\ 2 -mod Flagships.big
Hit return, the program launches with the mod."
(I can't include the link because my account is too new -.-)
It does launch the game with the mod (I see the customised menu-screen) but when I wanna launch a game it crashes. (I'm using Snow Leopard, so 64bit)
Is that a PC error too or just because something went wrong when adding the mod on the mac?
thx in advance
