my gamedev journey

Game development is not an easy work, and not anyone should be doing it specially non-professional artist such as me . but lately I have been looking to how many years that I have wasted in my life now that I am in my early 30,s and haven’t been able to achieve a thing that I really want.

regrets started crawling in my current job as a graphic designer and decided to try something that I really liked and wanted to do ever sense I was a child .


3 month ago a started a prototype game “Gundam-wings” fan game as an attempt to test my skills on game making before I start my own original ideas and ruin them up.

My idea was to see if I can make something small yet fun to play in modern standers of gaming !. and working might not be in its best forms do to life situations, so the progress in the game is a bit slow descant considering the scope of the game that I am aiming for.

The game as stated is a fan game of a title that belong to BANDE- NAMCO ,and for that I am not looking to make it a big game .

The original idea is to make it simple and small , 5 or 6 levels that would need from 5 to 8 minuets to finish each one !

And sense it’s a fan game , it should be free to play, sense I don’t own its title.

Lately I have uploaded some footages of some of the game levels that I have finished, and despite I am working the final touchs of the 3rd level going to the 4rth, I keep frequently going back and forth to it, trying to improve it more in a way that makes playing it even more challenging and fun , Which I am almost done from.

As I mentioned before that this project should be more like a challenge for my self , to see if I can pull something or not, before my future original ideas.

Because my original ideas though thy might not be the best , yet I have a lot of them waiting in a list of order too be worked on.

So after I finish this title. “ my god help in that “ my next project are going to be also small and lite but in deferent game genres.

This title should also be small in the scope and it take place in a small island where you will play through a number of dungeons and levels ,to finish some tasks and side quests

Dark hards:

Top down horror adventure game , with influence by 90,s and early 2000,s horror games.

And the list goose on hoping that I mange to finish all this project within this year ,un like the one that past, find a way to upgrade my tools to fast the progress even more !
