I will have to get to you with that
If we reopen development we will keep this in mind.
It's Eidelweise from the sound of music, however this a special "cover" done by amazon for the tv series.
Glad to hear it! We enjoyed playing Victoria 2 and started modding for fun, then The Man in the High Castle TV show came out we thought it would be a great idea for a mod. Please know Version 0.2 is coming soon and we'll be glad to hear your thoughts on it!
We're very weary about "ethnic cleansing" in our mod since we are already walking a fine line with swastikas in our mod. Also we feel as if removing some minority groups would be pointless in the grand sceme of things as the ETHNIC groups that were persecuted are a tiny fraction of the worlds population. If we were going to do something similar it would be the RELIGIOUS cleansing that was performed as it makes up a much bigger majority. We find this however a little too close to reality and much too low on our list of things to do.
In regards to your Canada question, we may consider such an event at a later date however priority 1 is to get basic mod functionality up and running first.
This detailed of a mod is emotionally draining. Therefore, we typically take a 2-3 week break in between updates to recoop. Also after the last update our personal lives got very busy. We will let you all know when and if we decide to stop production.
I reached chapter 10 before having to return it to the library. Highly recommend the show if you haven't seen it. However the book and show are two totally different monsters.
Please verify you installed the mod correctly and you have the mod selected.
The navy you mentioned is left over from ultimate. The music is randomly selected though and events have yet to be generated.
1. We're glad you like it! Highly recommend the show by the way.
2. Quickly after release we realized that Germany and Japan were too OP and we are discussing new ways to lower their power to a more tolerable level in both game play and performance. One option is to separate these into puppet states.
3. Our ultimate goal is to use our own code base instead of another mod.
4. At this time the MHC bookmark has no original events but we will be adding some in v0.2
5. As a matter of fact we have it is one of the big things we would like to do. We have not decided what it will be changed to as we have not figured out yet how to edit this video.
Hi if you are still having issues after reading the contents of the troubleshooting section of our readme, then please submit a support ticket to Support.grasshopperliesheavy.com
Looking over the patch notes it would appear that there should be no conflicts between the mod and this patch at this time. We are not able to test this theory at this time however.
We plan to add events in 0.2 but only if we can get enough feedback. Thankyou!
These are options during the WWII bookmark of the mod but in the MHC bookmark (shown in pictures) the puppet states are a part of their corresponding empire.
We believe the idea IS feasible but not practical.
We are using the ultimate mod as a base.
This is a mod based on the show which has the aspects you mentioned. I will take what you said into consideration.
No borders are permanent at this time. We will be looking into other border configs at a later date
Japan will have the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere we are considering making the Pacific States and German States only releasable and not starting nations. I will take a look into Darkest Hour to see what you're talking about.
A majority of land will be split between Germany and Japan with the next biggest being Italy. Few original countries remain and America is split between Germany and Japan.
It's not finished yet, but we're hoping for a summer 2016 release. We are close to a beta release though! We're hoping to avoid Paradox's restrictions on swastikas by using IP locks on our download pages.
We are using this mod with expansions but we will be doing testing to see if it will work with vanilla. Steam (and paradox) currently have the expansions for a HUGE discount if you are interested in purchasing them.
