However, I want to use the alternative icons from MVHDI (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/maids-vanilla-hd-icons).
But your mod allows you to use either your own icons or the patch for the vanilla icons.
The patch just changes your own texture file "grok_bo_ammo_icons.dds" instead of returning a link to the original file "ui_icon_equipment.dds"
I tried to fix this with a third-party mod: (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/proper-vanilla-ammo-for-groks-ballistic-overhaul). However, it hasn't been updated for a long time and is currently causing the game to crash.
I also tried merging "weapon_ammo.ltx" with WinMerge, as advised in the comments. But the number of differences frightened me.
It would be great to see a version of your mod that doesn't affect icons in any way.
