I was only able to rate 8 because I'm new(made an account just for this) otherwise I'd give it a 9. I have a few suggestions as to what you can do with this game.

First off, Focus On The Battles and Adding New Pokemon(meaning don't try and create the whole world and try to figure out how to integrate finding wild Pokemon and all the different Personalities or Natures). If you focus on the gameplay mechanics of the real-time Pokemon battles, add new moves, and different Pokemon and make it a good solid fight then you have nothing to worry about. IF you get all that down first then you'll have so much funding and support and people wanting to join in and help you make this game great that this game cant be ruined.

Second, the move system needs to be changed a bit. When you're controlling the Pokemon, instead of having to click and drag to move the camera or auto-lock onto a target make it so there is always a reticule in the center of the screen and have the camera follow it(like FPS do). This way you can free up time to aim and use moves. Just makes it a little less clunky is all. Also since the reticule would always be in the center and the camera would follow that reticule then make it so when you select a move it automatically uses it instead of having to click a second time. These suggestions make it a little more fluid when battling and allow you to focus on strategy.

These are just my opinions here. Maybe just focus on 1st or 2nd Generation Pokemon or even both. That way there are less Pokemon to try and develop and a smaller move-set as to, like i mentioned, focus on the battle mechanics. Just an opinion is all. Also with the attacking moves make them have a cast time. Like how Quick attack has a 100% accuracy make it an instant use. And how Fire Blast has an 80% accuracy make it a 2 second cast time. Sheer Cold has a 30% accuracy, so make it 7 second cast time. One second = 10% accuracy maybe? Please let me know what you think! I love to help
