Giving enemies more hp doesn't make the game difficult. Giving the enemies new weapons or make them more agressive, that makes it more difficult.
If you feel like extra hp is needed then do it but don't make it by a lot.
This being said i haven't tried the mod. I'm just trying to explain to you what the other monkeys said.
