Somebody took credit for ur hard work!!! That's horrible.
Is there anything that u or the community can do to sort this out?

(ps. As you may know, I have been following this mod for quite a while now, I'm the guy that suggested using Left mouse button to scroll through the map.)

So happy to find this mod. used to play AOE as a kid and go to sleep dreaming about walking around the world on ground level.

I imagen a lot of work must go into making this game first-person.

I would love to know what tools were used to make this possible, I find this project really inspirational.

Another day of playing this nearly perfect FC2 mod.
Really wish it had a .ini file with true and false values to allow people to turn parts of the mod on and off, to accommodate for a wider variety of players.

I was wondering if something like "first person render" for MineCraft would be possible in FC2 (being able to look down and see you body)

Love this mod.

By the way, along with no fall damage did you increase the claiming angle and boos the jump height?

Testing it out today and ran in to a possible bug:

After purchasing the star_model_p at mikes gun shop but could not pick it up from the gun shed.

Hope its an easy fix.

Also I noted that no npc spawn at the ammo check point to the south–west of Pala (on route to ****-fights).
same thing happened north of Pala at the health-pack check point over the bridge; past the turn off to fresh fish.
Is this intentional?

Hi, I love this mod and I love cycling the map with left click. I often open the map just so I can click through it xD

I was wondering if its possible to have two versions of this mod: the male and the female versions.

in the female version of the mod one can choose any one of the three female characters, and the sound files are replaced with female sounds (when they get hurt or whatever)

because I don't think there is a way to give different sound files to male or female in one version, is there?

Man, This mod is amazing, it does so many things I had given up on ever seeing in FC2. Ty for a GG!!!

I would very much appreciate it if you could add a ‘read me’ to the installer, the mod is working perfectly but the sawn-off shot-guns are not displaying at all, and I would love to know what I did wrong there xD

In one of your comments you mentioned being done with this superb mod, but I couldn’t help myself:

I’m not a modder, but Playing your mod has really inspired me, so while playing I kept track of bugs and possibilities I noted and thought I’d include them here (just for in-case ;-)

Possible bugs or me doing something wrong:

1.) in vehicles, the camera becomes really sticky, making it hard to look around while driving (its almost impossible to look at the map without having to stop)

2.) hitting R (when weapon’s fully loaded) does not display ammo count. Results in much pointless pressing of E/R and futile “just in-case” walks to ammo stocks.

Idea’s:

1.) I was wondering if it is possible for the player to have a choice between carrying the flare gun vs the IED’s in the machete slot?

2) I noted that you managed to switch the key for rotating the map scale to be “T”
a possibility here is to cycle through the maps using left-click; which currently does nothing while map is active (seems a bit more intuitive).

2.2) when one starts holding right-click, there is a key-frame with the monocular in ones left hand and the GPS in your right. Both are in a neutral state at this point.
Possibility: would it be possible to make that key-frame the “first/default map” for veteran players. Allowing one to have the GPS out while walking, without the bulky map taking up so much of the screen?


And Finally: PET PEEVES:

1.) The difficulty setting labels:

I am a dedicated “Infamous” player, and have finished the game multiple times, with various mods, on this difficulty.

But I find the use of terms like “baby” for ‘easy’ in a game insulting.

Here’s why:
Game difficulty settings are accessibility options, calling easy “baby mode” is the same as calling a weal-chair ramp for the disabled “baby stairs”.

Example:
I am busy introducing my wife (who is studying 2 courses and has a full time job) to gaming, for the first time in her life. Shes a casual player who does not have time to master the 360 no-scope.

Not convinced:
My father served in Angola, and is now 75 years old, he’s partially blind in one eye, and due to this he recently fell and broke his ribs.

Now, imagine you have a once in a life time opportunity to get an actual veteran of the war a game is based on, to play this fantasy rendition of his lived experience; and he has to watch you select “baby” difficulty for him.

Still not convinced?

2.) The random dudes with suits, I’m guessing that they are a test run for adding bots to multiplayer?
I find them very immersion breaking and would really appreciate being able to disable them.
