This is the only EAW mod that actually cares about ground battles and makes huge improvements to them. The most notable one and my personal favorite is the addition of starfighters and bombers to ground battles as air support units. This is a game changer for me and the reason why this is my personal favorite EAW mod. Besides the Absolute Corruption Mod (which became outdated and obsolete), no other mod has done this. Also the models in this mod are the best and most accurate lore wise I have seen for this game.

Many leaving 1/10 reviews here do so more because they don't like the creator Nomada, not because the mod is bad. They also don't like how they have to go to his site to get the latest version. I don't get their anger. Sure, he isn't the nicest guy around but as long as you follow the rules and read the guides you won't have any problem. They also say the mod is unstable, that is true, however, the original two CDs release of the game and the expansion is the way to go if you want to get the most stable experience. The Steam version is awful. The Gold Pack DVD version is decent and the one I recommend if you can't get the original CDs. You also need to make a full installation of the mod. The instructions are on his site. Moving the game folder out of Program Files to the desktop will help greatly with stability as well.

To conclude. This in my opinion is the best EAW mod. The only problem is the stability. But is understandable. This is a resource heavy mod running on a decade old engine that is outdated and unstable so I can't hardly blame the creator. No other mod is as big and add as much content and changes the game so much as this one. This mod has pushed the game's engine to the very limit. Impressive most impressive.
