Looking for help to setup a very basic implementation of Steam Workshop for my game, Guts and Glory. Paid work plus in-game credits.
I have Steamworks.NET wrapper installed and working well with the Steam API.
I just need commented C# scripts for Unity that will allow me to:
1. Create and upload new Workshop Items, with an easy way to tell this function what to upload (content path, image path, name, description, etc.)
2. Find all of the user’s Subscribed Workshop Items, and load info about each into an array I can access, including content path and preview image.
3. Update Workshop Items uploaded by the same user, if the Item has the same Name.
My game has a built-in level editor to create tracks for a racing game (of sorts). Each level is saved locally as a single .txt file with a .png preview image. I just need to upload that, plus item details, to Workshop when the user presses their “Upload” button in the editor.
I will then use the array from part #2 (above) to build a list of Community Tracks for the user to select from in the game. Each is a button. When the user presses that, it will load up that level into the game for them to play.
Please let me know what you would charge for this, and if you have any examples of your work.
Needed as soon as possible.
