Description
Panther tank rumbles forward in the Ardennes, late December 1944. Despite the strength of the 6th SS Panzer Army, it is ironic that the bulk of its units never got into combat. Because of the weather conditions and the wooded terrain, there were many bottlenecks that resulted in tanks being held up in massive jams. As a consequence, only the lead elements of the panzer columns clashed with the enemy. In fact, the deepest penetration of the Allied line was made not by the Waffen-SS but by the 2nd Panzer Division.
