The Grand Admiral shall oversee all major space attacks and construction of any and all ships in the navy. He/She is the Commander in Space, and shall report directly to the Supreme Commander.

Admirals shall control an Imperial Fleet and direct it in battle. They also train Vice-Admirals and report to the Grand Admiral. An Admiral commands 15 ships Star destroyers and various other ships.

Vice-Admirals train under an Admiral and advise him in battle
Captain: Kamikazesniper
Captains command their own ship and direct it in battle. They can think independently in battle unless ordered by a Vice-Admiral or higher. They train Lieutentnats. A captain commands one stardestroyer and 10 other lesser ships.
Lieutentnat: Dreadnaught93
Lieutentnats are the lowest rank in Space. They serve on board a ship untill they complete their training and is are given their own ships. They get trained by Captains.
Land:

The Grand General commands the Imperial army and all major offences on the ground. He/She reports directly to the Supreme Commander.
General: Dark-Assassin
Generals command an army consisting of two line battlegroupd and direct them in battle. They also train Lieutentnat Generals and report to the Grand General.
Lieutentnat General: No one yet.
Lieutentnat Generals train under a General and is his advisor in battle.
Colonel: No one yet.
Colonels command one regiment** and directs them in battle. They also train Majors.
Major: No one yet.
Majors command one line battalion*** and also trains under and advises a Colonel.
Special Guard:
Chiss Bodyguard Commander: Darth^Xerstorung
The Chiss Bodyguard Commander commands the special unit that protects the Supreme Commander. They are made out of the best soldiers in the Empire and cannot be trained. You must be invited to join.
Chiss Bodyguards: No one yet.
The best of the best, they serve and protect the Supreme Commander loyaly. They report directly to the Chiss Bodyguard Commander and the Supreme Commander ONLY. No one else can command them unless stated so by the Supreme Commander.
*one battle group:10,219 troopers, 4191 support personnel, 511 repulsorcraft and 53 heavy tanks.
**one regiment:2,500 troops and 1,000 support personnel
***one line battalion:810 men including 608 troopers, 18 more if the heavy weapons company was fully equipped.

how do we advance in the ranks
once a higher ranking offical dies in battle, resigns, or you prove better than he or she than you will be promoted or demoted as it may happen

I wouldn`t get over confident... Not many people can capture the StarForge on their own... And my battle meditation combined with my flag ship "The White Shadow" makes me near invincible. Though It would be foolishh not to try to overthrow me...

i just sent 10 of my star-destroyers along the correlian trade route to steal supplies being delivered for the republic .so far , they have hijacked 10 supply vessles , and have stolen enough supplies to sustain a colony of 500 humans for 6 standard months .
Good. Maintain your fleet their and capture more of their ships. If you see a superior Republic force, retreat. We do not have the power yet to engage the Republic head on in Space. Countinue to raid supply lines like this.
