I wonder who in their right mind would spend hours upon hours crafting all of the beautiful artwork onto the armor we see in 40k.
Afterall, it probably gets destroyed from the first bolter shell to hit the armor.
They have machines do it in like 10 minutes. the mechanicus never lets us down.
Actually specially designed Armour is made by either the tech marine or the owner himself (depends on the chapter) and most of the time squads (the owner battle - brothers) will go back into battle just to retrieve the Armour and owner.
