A task: Primarch Corax arrived at the Isstvaan with 80 000 of spess mehreenes. Primarch Angron and his fellow primarchs killed 77 000 spess mehreenes of the Raven Guard. The question of the task is: what percentage of spess mehreenes Primarch Corax lost at the Isstvaan?
Solution of the task: Let's make a proportion: 80 belongs to 100 as well as 77 belongs to x, thus:
80/100=77/x;
80x=77*100;
x=(77*100)/80;
x=96,25.
Verification: 96,25=/=50
Answer: Primarch Corax lost at the Isstvaan 96,25% of spess mehreens, which can not be considered as a "half".
That's some devastating numbers...
Imagine I said "most" instead of "half".
Math is the only true answer!
