the one on the left looks like a stoner
i dont get why they dont just fire nukes into the swarm ascending on the planet in the first place rather than having to fight them.
Because they still want to be able to live there? Plus, nukes are rare because the adeptus mechanicus doesn't like them.
NUKE = EMP
EMP = NO TANKS, NO LASGUNS, NO AIRSUPPORT
NO TECH = BAD FOR IMPERIAL GUARD
Emporor banned the use of nukes after unification cos earth was near enough destroyed by em. Plasma stuff has more or less the same effect though, just no EMP, plasma FTW XD

no, they have fusion devices. Cyclonic torpedoes are Hypernukes as big as a scyscraper.
