For everyone that likes Warhammer 40k Tabletop and Dawn of War Games or anything to do with Warhammer 40K.
One of my subject (Web Journalism) given me the assignment of creating a news website. I decided to take a 40K theme.
The entire thing is still very WIP and will likely say that way, but I though I share this.
BTW guys, I could use some more "news". You you guys have some ideas, feel free to message me.
Search for battles that involved the Imperium and talk about the crushing defeats our glorious troops inflicted upon the foul xenos and hated heretics. Go hard on the ham.
Added a few, check the tabs.
Not glorious enough, say instead that the Emperor's finest of the Death Korps of Krieg continue to take ground with minor casualties and that the war is likely to end soon. Perhaps take some cues from Regimental Standard.
Can't access Regimental Standard, and that kind of over the top stuff have to wait till my teacher done grading it.
Some news example:
Huron Blackheart still on the run, official says.
Astronomicon dimmed as viewed from the eastern fringe of galaxy is a confirmed hoax.
Ordo Malleus recent exterminatus on Imperial Hive world was condemned by The Ecclesiarch Decius XXIII due to lack of prove. Karamazov: At least some of them are sinner.
Sicarius view on the latest Terran Crusade.
And of course,
A private interview with a catachan fighter, Sly Marbo.
Using Google Maps to pinpoint your real world location? Is that part of the project because it seems immersion-breaking. Maybe something more like the name of what Terran Continent, Hive, Spire, Hab Block, etc you are located in?
Also, the Inquistion logo and quote I think should only be displayed once rather than as several blocks in the background (unless that is a placeholder). Maybe a Mechanicus logo and seal to show your website has been approved and blessed by the local techpriest? I am viewing your site through Google Chrome by the way.
Have't got around fixing the google map thing, it's still WIP.
And it was meant as a "big brother" vibe. Might change that.
