i think best imp guard defense tactic is a disciplined firing line supported with artillery and command squad mixed with heavy weapon squads and after that make
a steady march into the enemy forces

That's basic methods, that anyone can come up with, sorry. The tactics need to be advanced ones, I believe.

true if were allowed to talk about tactics from the pc game soulstorm (purgation of kaurafa) then ill say i like ambush tactics and every now and then airborne troopers taking points and having some snipers always comes in handy about board game tactics im getting the codex tommorow so maybe ill learn some more things from that
