Freedom is slowly turning into an illusion as the rights of certain groups are being trampled on just because of their beliefs. Free speech is now only okay as long as enough people agree with it. If you are a Christian or other believer you are mocked and stomped and spat on by certain other groups (that I will not name). The very Christian foundation of out history is being rewritten into something that benefits those who do not agree. Heck, kids are now being taught things that are totally different from what even I was taught in school when I was at that age. So on a scale of 1 to America, I'd have to say, America (not in a good way).

tl;dr version: Real freedom is virtually dead.

I agree, but I think that the problem with the world goes further than this: it's much worse when people are fooled out of following their own beliefs.

Ugh, Yuri, please, not this. We aren't going to teach the Christian faith in schools. We live in a secular society, deal with it. Creationists do not have scientific evidence, don't bother arguing the other way, I think I've seen your flawed counter arguments something around 3 times now.

Thats not my point. My point was quite clear, actually. The "Christian thing" was just an example. When I said what was being taught in schools now is different I was referring to things like history. I went to a Christian school from pre-school to 4th grade. After that it was all public school. I must say that the quality of learning, at least in my time, in Christian schools was a lot higher than that of public schools here in the US, specifically Florida. Public schools have minimal funding and the teachers don't give a rat's behind about the education of their students as long as they get paid (colleges and universities are the worst in that regard). I had a few teachers who were exceptions to that of course.

You are much more free in England than in the USA.

Just sayin'.
