It turns out that PETA, a organization with close work to the government that claims to care for animals and find them homes, are actually killing animals upon receiving them.

Over 90% of the animals given to PETA to find homes for are actually euthanized within the first 24 hours of receiving them. You want to find animals homes, DO NOT, give them to PETA...
And too imagine there are so many animal lovers who fund that organization, sad.
I wouldn't entirely consider the huffingtonpost to be all that trustworthy of a source but it isn't that surprising. I mean there are a LOT of animals, far too many for each of them to be given a home. That said as someone that owns two really awesome dogs, this image is making me cry. :(
I could change it if you want but the main reason I put it up was to spark people's interest to read about this. Sometimes the only way to get people's attention is too show this stuff up front. Sorry about it anyway.

PETA, are literally NAZI's towards defenseless, innocent animals.
One time I read a story where the PETA came and euthanized a dog that, while certainly wasn't the healthiest one around, was well-fed and well-cared for by their owner WHILE THE OWNER STILL HAD HER.
