Yes -.- due to spending budget cuts. The RAF Harriers are decomissioned in 2011 in favor of the so called F-35B (**** sakes)
The Harrier is our best type of equipment since the 60's, i cannot believe that its gone, Light_Tank does have a good point on the budget cuts
well, the harriers had to go sooner or later... the world is advancing technologically.
i hope those F-35s will be worth it though.
Look at the USAF B-52 Stratofortresses, they've ******* used 'em since the 50s and they plan to retire them in 2040. We've used the Harriers in the 60's so why couldnt they retire them in the 2050's?
Yes true about b52 but its not true with all tec.
