But to be honest, yeah it don't stand a chance against the WWW, I am surprised it's even made it as far as it has.
If we are lead to this, the Internet will be forever changed, not only for the sites that are housed in the US or people from the US, but everyone, not only because they "own" half of the internet, but also because if the US do so, every other country will follow. I am not against fighting online piracy, but using it as a cause to control the internet (maybe the last way for people to express their thoughts freely) is obscene. Censorship is the basis of a tyrannic system, censorship is what seperates democracy from dictatorship, censorship holds the world back other than allowing it to move on. That's why this bill cannot become a law.
