Another Scrin picture I made for fun. I hope you guys like it. It revolves around the scrin trying to use any weakness the humans possess for their advantage. This time it is about the highly important but also vulnerable area of the neck. The left picture is an illustration, the right one is a MRT picture of the highlighted area. It is a horizontal cut with a caudal view.
To anyone who wonders what the marked areas are but doesnt know anatomy or wants some detailed information:
The left X is the vena jugularis externe. The right X is the vena jugularis interna. Venes transport blood to the heart. These two are also called jugular veins. The middle bottom X is the spinal cord inside the vertebral column (more exactly: this picture shows the 6th Cervical vertebrae).

I thought those things normally shred enemies apart like horror movies.
But to attack 1st a human neck... its a start.
Yea, those blood effects in TE kinda suggest that^^
But I thought why send buzzers to attack parts that might be secured by body armor, if you can attack a much more vulnerable area? And there flows a lot of blood in the neck^^
