Is the Avatar really NOD Thread - Tiberium Essence Fans

I always disliked the avatar because its not a NOD type of weapon its more GDI style (not in artwork) NOD shouldn't be steamrolling with one unit out in the open I don't know what else NOD could use but they lack something completely new like GDI's falcon all the NOD units are Tib Wars or "new" tib sun units and I think that NOD should get something to replace the avatar but fill the "best unit role" more tactically like the rest of NOD. I guess late game upgrades are another alternative to an avatar replacement cause theres enough units I just think that they should all be perfect or perfected over time and I don't see the avatar fitting in with NOD

my point is more that does it need to be that way

I prefer Stealth Tanks, but they are cool. Keep them.

avatars arent even that good.... maybe if you want to unit spam....

TW's engine won't allow the game to be as balanced as TS, so I say keep the Avatars.

Ya I get what you guys are saying I'm just thinking that perhaps something more nod like could be a better filler for that role just can't think of a good replacement unit/concept

Thats something I've also been thinking a bit off. Not to mention the believeability of such a walker. It's defenitley worht to discuss, maybe we could find a better unit, maybe not.

P.S It's spelled "Nod".

I've got an idea for a unit to replace the Avatar, or not replace him, whatever...an underground Laser anti-tank vehicle.
But I dunno, would be a bit overpowered right?

Meh. I hate when people think to give Nod some mech/tank/whatever shaped like a scorpion. Prefer 10 times the Avatar than this.

haha, i agree. i was just throwing it out there because people seem to not like the avatar.

If only engine allows the Avatar to steal multiple weapons\abilities(not more then 4) from any faction's tank\mech\walker like the Hammer tank from Ra3.

I'm thinking Nod needs something with firepower (like the avatar) as a tank but Nod doesn't need to rely on it to win.

Stealth tank destroyer? think about it, it is stealth when stationary, and visible when moving, its totally Nod and totally German (LOL)

This is the Stealth Tank with Tiberium missiles... which is always stealth.

To replace Avatar Warmech the coolest guy except from Anihilator Tripod.mhhhh.nope.Mammoth is ,,just'' a tank.Maybe giving Avatar a missile pod upgrade for AA defense can be useful. yeah,the lasers and flamethrower on top of that that is some firepower to fear.I would give him an movement speed upgrade though.

Avatar does not need a buff at all it just doesn't fit nods army or military doctrine

Not so much fitting, but it´s the only thing which can directly face the other factions thought units. And on TE appeard even more dangerous treats do give Nod a headache.

For me, as I said before, KEEP IT. If you don´t like them, don´t use them and build an army of stealth tanks (for exemple)

I didn't say that it should be simply wiped out I meant replaced with something that can give nod the win while using their doctrine

or, we could do that, and just remodel it! or, we could do exactly what you said... whichever... i don't really care...
