Because of GDI's Dropship Command, Scrin needs some reinforcement abilities as well...

#1 Harvest Force: 1 Annihilator, 2 Devourers-----$5000
#2 Invasion Force: 1 PAC, 1 Devastator-----$4500
#3 Exploring Force: 2 Seeker, 2 Razorbacks-----$2500
#4 Corruption Force: 1 Corruptor, 1 Defiler-----$2500

thesee would be teleport to in front of the signal transmitter.

me and playmsbk thought of these

Remember that scrin already got their still growing air fleet that can rip anything appart, and other unique support powers like the wormhole. Instead of gettin new troops, teleport some that are forgoten somwhere.

The idea is to have some powers of last resort.

Ex. There's a Commando ripping your base apart, you can't wait 'till you have an AP defense up and don't have any available units anywhere on the map (happens to me a lot), so you call an Exploring Force abd save the day. Also GDI has lots of reinforcements powers and the most versatile army in the game, and it's unfair for GDI being able to save itself from some small attack force while the others are doomed to die by infiltrators.

That is why you get Buzzer Hives.

they take time to build... and alot of time they are a major fail against commandos cuz the commando can just shoot the buzzer and destroy the hive before new buzzers spawn...

Thats why you build them before the commando shows up, and build enough to stop the commando. Through enough bodies against something and its bound to fall.

Then you'd be jizzing your pants about the mammy not the commando.

(You should have a PAC somewhere. :P)

.... maybe you just barely killed the mammy with a disetigrator rush... then commando destroys base unless you call upon reinforcements via signal transmitter...

There are lost of scenarios with that.
1) You tried a rush strategy, in such strategies you never build defenses cause you need all the cash to build armies.
2) You had all your Reactors lost to some support power.
3) The Commando found a way in your base using his jumpjet.
4) You never expected the enemy to send infantry.
etc.

Also having random units around is not an answer for a solution to being pwned by a Commando.

yeah cuz if you have a bunch of random stuff setting around (eg. buzzers/disetigrators) you are just going to help make him heroic...

You could use the swarm support power on him. :P

Do you see for yourself, reinforcements powers are needed to save you at the last time. At this scenario you can use the Buzzer support on him, but it could as well be 10 Devil's Tongues rampaging in your base.

I'm for your idea. And what i said can be taken like, 8 different ways...
First off, buzzers can't do shit vs an air unit.
Second, scrin should get air reinforcements, because their navy is awesome.
Third, well, the rest are against... But I am for!

YAY... XD

It sounds logical.Even NOD have some reinforcements powers, and Scrin just Lightining edges and Buzzer swarms.Since Scrin have no tranport unit until Ravager Gunship the flying scrin APC will be here, some reinforcement power for Scrin can be nice. They will probably be imported like Buzzer swarm.(transport beam animation). Also it could form nice combo with Vibration scan I think.I am for Exploring and Corruption force. To transport mighty Scrin warships whenewer you want, already with rank 2 sounds OP.I would also do a Drop pod of Stalwarts.
