(Ok, this not art, but I thought it would be fun to share this.)
Sooo, I finally bought Bioshock Infinite (which btw it's f*cking awesome) and the guy was so nice to give me the latest GameInformer magazine. I found this while I was reading it.
Though funny and true, it's kind of sad to me that people are treating this like homosexuality. (It's pretty ironic too)
I fail to see how this is treated like homosexuality.
It's just a simple 'ask no question and get no answer' thing.
Well tell me, when you meet or know already someone that it looks obvious that he/she is gay, would you ask "Are you gay?"
I'm not saying being gay is bad, but sounds ackward just to ask that question.
That's because they use the same slogan in the military for dealing with homosexuals... It's there to stop fights from breaking out. All "Don't ask, don't tell" means is don't mention it if you are one because you will **** off some conservative Christians who do not like homosexuals serving in the military.
Pft, had actually read that bit sometime after getting the issue. Truly a difficult issue to broach when in unconfirmed company.
