(Note: Originally, I was going to write a fanfic about the Moon Festival to match with this but due to writer block and lack of build, I have to cancel it, oh well, maybe next year then!)
To celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival or the Moon Festival, I decided to upload a comic by Tan575 who just made this. I believe that this might be one of those time where people actually stop their work and gaze at the beautiful night sky for once and make Luna feel accepted. And she's even eating a mooncake!
Also, Luna as the Chinese Moon Goddess Chang'e, then I'll be her Houyi.
EDIT: Just to clear things up. The Bat Ponies in panel 2 are Luna's personal guards/servants not the diplomats. They are presenting the diplomats' gifts to her (Since Hasbro has not yet shown us any ponies from China, unless of course you count the shopkeeper that sold the Alicorn Amulet to Trixie).
Foreign land? Moon cakes from the hazardous waste dump from beyond the mountains.
