And, the sad demise of a T-72.
The linked Youtube video contains subtitles and shows the FSA/Terrorist RPG position relative to the tank.
I have watched the longer version on YouTube and i think the commander of the destroyed tank was interviewed by the camera team before going on there mission there was just no way a T-72 would survive an RPG 29 to the side.
You're right. Especially if it hits the turret.
The environments these tanks operate is hell. An RPG can come from anywhere. Advances have to be slow and methodical with infantry support. Even then tank casualties are inevitable.
really interesting to see the engagement from both perspectives, its something you certainly don't see everyday.
