Possibly. Ukraine claims that they have never lost any tanks to rebels, even if the whole rebel army consist of stolen/captured Ukrainian vehicles. West(excluding US) trusts Ukraine more than facts, because facts are usually given by Russia, and accepting anything Russian is...well, you know, forbidden.
But, well, there actually were some Russian-only vehicles on the streets of Donetsk. But they were not tanks or artillery, but mobile radar stations.
The massive wedge front part on the cast turret is not ERA, but improvised composite armor with deflective slope geometry reminiscent of the T-90 turret geometry.
Did you know you could fill it up with tungsten carbide, aluminum oxide tool bits cemented with Epoxied resins ! And they are the best stuff to disintegrate the penetration of a shaped charge !
These rebels sure have a lot of free time...
At least they have good taste in music...
Those spaced armor makes this T-64 looks like a lot like a T-90A.
I wonder is this is what the west claiming as "Russian aid"?

Pretty sure there is no composite material inside those improvised parts.
