A TOW missile fired on a Russian classic T-72 tank on a test range, you can see the devastating effect this missile has on the Tank.
I don't think reactive armor can protect this projectile but active protection may.
In Syrian Civil War, regular army of Syrian Armed Forces have and use T-72 tanks with reactive armor, on many firefights RPG-7s fired by Free Syrian Army Rebels are ineffective against these Tanks thanks to reactive armor but here and there rebels use more advanced TOW missiles to take out these Tanks.
You can see how powerful these Anti-Tank TOW missiles are on T-72s.
TOW stands for Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-to-command-link, which means that these missiles are controlled mark 1 eyeballs with wire attached between payload(missile) and launcher itself.
