This "force sensitive tree" must have become so because of the Force Nexus located in the Jedi Temple. I guess that being a sanctuary housing so many powerful figures in The Force,the tree must have somehow absorbed some of that force essence,right? As Yoda said,The Force is everywhere and between each and every being or object.
