Star Wars Battlefront III? Thread - Star Wars Fan Group

Has any one heard anything more about a Star Wars Battlefront 3?
Last I heard was that is was still in development. I was so excited about the ground-to-air-to-space battles that were demonstrated in a couple of videos.

Yeah i've heard of it, looked at some vids on youtube to see whats new. But they looked like battlefront 2 which was disappointing.

Yeah, I think major revisions to the graphics, physics and game engines are needed to improve on Battlefront 2. But as I said before I would like to see ground-to-air-to-space battles because I haven't seen any game do that before.

yeah same here. I would also like to see a few more units and vehicles.

That too. More variations in classes and better squad or team command would be a good addition too.

I think Battlefront I and II are already good but a third game?? what can u do more there. he only new thing would be the graphic, because the story is already finisched with I and II.

Ground to Air to Space battel would be mosta awesmoe thing I ever played. Or a battle where u have the Deathstar, and a Mon Calamri, which fly around the DS.
Then u could use fighters to get from the DS to the Mon Calamri or from the Mon Calamari to the DS. And on the DS there are commando points, whrer u can spawn new, without flying back to the DS then.^^ That wopuld be awesome. And you could use the weapons of the Mon Calamari and the DS.

Maybe the third game could also address the expanded universe armies like after Return of the Jedi or before Phantom Menace. More vehicles, custom weapons sets (like on Ghost Recon, where there's multiple weapons sets per class) perhaps.

If they make a III, it had better have some EU stuff. Yuuzhan Vong anyone?

other than EU, I really don't have anything else.

Not too sure about how well the Yuuzhan Yong will be received in game. I think that they may even be a little too powerful for proper game balance.

Heck. If the developers implement everything here, it would be a huge game. It would probably cost a fair bit too.

They ought to make it like MAG thats coming out for the PS3.
