These are just some ideas, i have no experience in creating models, etc..
CIS units/heroes
-CIS hero: cad bane. abilities could be detonators and cloak
-magna guards: only buildable on planet general greivous is on , very expensive to build
-BX-series droid commando - can raid planets without space battle --- can sprint and throw grenades
-LM-432 crab droid - really effective against infantry
-DSD1 dwarf spider droid - effective against light vehicles
And for a Separatist space unit
the Droch-class boarding ship -- a suicide bomber, can attack frigates or capital ships, but it dies yet does a very large amount of damage to the ship
cannot attack fighters/bombers due to evasiveness and speed
REPUBLIC units/ heroes
-Adding a LAAT/c that carries a ATOT, very heavy armor and carries lots of troops. can dispense them in battle
-maybe Ahsoka could be her own unit--controls the twilight ship
-Anakin/r2d2 is own unit and controls his star fighter
-add arc troopers only buildable on kamino: VERY expensive and maybe set a limit? Abilities: focus fire and ??
-senate guards only build able on coruscant: very expensive. abilities could be detonators and some sort of melee attack
New ability ??
-All capital ships with a hero on board can use ability "escape pod" cannot be destroyed and hero escapes to nearby planet also capital
ship can fight after hero leaves
Recruiting mercs. ??
major planets can recruit mercs. Kashyyyk=wookies ...Mandalore=mandalorians...etc
