Battlefront 2 Remaster goal is to remaster Star Wars Battlefront 2 by creating high-quality graphical/visual mods to revamp the game. The goal is to update the original content, and after that, adding new content, transforming it into a whole new game for all the Star Wars Fans around the world to enjoy.
I'm Harrisonfog and I've been working on this project for over 2 years. It all started with a Graphics Mod I made for Battlefront 2, which became very popular. I made a few HD revamps of the original maps, to use with my Graphics Mod to overhaul the game's graphics even further. This maps were called Rezzed Maps. My mods and their combination were very well reviewed, people really liked my designs and retextures so I decided I'd keep working to eventually make revamped versions of all the base maps (19 ground maps / 15 space maps). This was the beggining of the Remaster Project.
I worked on this for over a year when I decided to contact other modders with a similar criteria to work on the playermodels and vehicles. I wanted to make them as realistic and high def as possible for this old engine. Eventually I found the right people, who would allow me to work freely in the graphics area; modders Javitolo98 and Calrissian97 worked on the 3D models of playermodels and vehicles, while I retextured and redesigned all the assets and we released Improved Sides Mod.

Love this mod so much, gives the game a whole new feel. I can tell this was done with real passion for the game, too. Hats off to you, man, you just made a timeless classic even better.

Hi! So I am new to the modding community and absolutely love your work. They are by far the best Star Wars Mods and Mods in general ever!!!! Anyways I noticed in a recent post of your that you will begin to create your own maps soon once you finish the original games maps. I don't know if you to request or recomendations, but I know a really really good map would be "The Box." It comes from the Clone Wars TV Show (Season 4...Episode 17...Title "The Box.") It's a moving map wherein the bounty hunters duke it out in a series of challenges to see who is the best bounty hunter for the job. It is survival of the fittest and has multiple levels. to it. Personally I would love to see this happen and I know their are others out their who might as well. This map could be done with regular troops and a bounty hunters mod with the ones from the episode and famous ones (Cade Bane / Em Bo / Aurra Sing / Jango and Boba / Bosk / Dengar / IG88 / Etc..) Overall it would be an amazing map. But, as I said earlier I don't know if you do things like this, but I thought I would ask. Thank you so much for the work you do. Star Wars Battlefront 2 just wouldn't be the same without you!
