the famous Narodnaya Solyanka //Народная Солянка// SoC 1.0006 mod.
The mod is continuously patched and updated, the development is continuous. To play this game you MUST to have a RUSSIAN Shadow of Chernobyl version. After you installed the mod with the PATCH 2.09 and Patch Fix 2.09 2 you will translate the mod to English, so don't worry, if you speak English you can play.
NOTE: the mod WONT run with English basic game, you must to have Russian SoC version, but as I said, with the latest Patch and Fix you will get English translations

" Hello, if anybody has problems with the proper installation of the SoC Narodnaya Solyanka, here is an updated installation method, I just tested, its working fine.
NOTE: the mod WONT run with English basic game, you must to have Russian SoC version 1.0006 , but as I said, with the latest Patch and Fix you will get English translations.
Proper install requires:
(1) Clean install of SoC patched to 1.0006 (I use Russian version)
(2) Delete stalker-soch folder in C:\User\Public Documents
(3) Delete/move all the gamedata.dbxx files in your SoC game root directory (ie db0 -> db9, dba -> dbd)
(4) Run the OP-2 mod setup. It will create a folder with files db0 -> db9, dba and a bin folder >>>>
(UPDATE 1 ) in detail : Make a folder anywhere on your hard disk, name it "delete" and extract (install) the NS files there by using the NS installer.
When the installation (extraction) is done, copy ALL the extracted files to the Stalker SoC directory (after delete the "delete" folder).
(5) Now run a new game ... this will create the stalker-soch folder in C: drive with the user.ltx file that you need for this game
(6) Then update with the latest (a,) Patch and (b,) Patch Fix and at the same time it ll give you English version English translation !
in detail: create a folder, name it "update", copy there the downloaded Patch 2.09.1 and Patch Fix 2.09 2 files, and extract THERE both of them to separated folders. When its done copy /first/ the content of the OP2_V2.09.01_English folder to the MAIN SOC folder, after copy the content of the OP2_V2.09.02_English folder to the MAIN soc folder. /if and when the system asks " are u sure to merge the folders" you click "yes".
I am sorry if its a bid complicated, right now this is the only working way to use the English translations with the NS Cumulative pack 2 ,the opportunities of our group are limited. "

Hello. I know this might not be the place to ask but does anybody know a solution to the bug that you can not take items (like: hands, eyes, tails) from mutants?
It's not a bug. Get yourself a knife.

You have to find a knive first, or you'll not be able to cut those parts off
Damn, i didn't buy a knife because i bought the crowbar from Freeman which is easy to kill zombies and mutants. That logical. Thanks man.

Hello everyone, I'm sort of stuck any help would be appreciated, Akim ask for some medicine in exchange for info about finding some crow eggs now the problem is those medicine bottles are not spawning at the usual place the southern military post in the cordon, I'm wandering if this mod has changed the eggs location. Thank you
Umm.. do you know where Akim location is? I got quest to find crows eggs but need to ask Akim first. The problem is it didn't show/telling his wherebout. Please just tell me the answer in detail
